Find the Answers To All Frequently Asked Questions Here

Welcome to the Remedy:Reformer Studio help center. We have pulled some of the most frequently asked questions from our customers and compiled them all into one place. Should you have any other questions that we may have missed, don’t hesitate to reach out.

I’ve heard of Pilates, but what is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates uses a specialised piece of equipment called a reformer,

which includes a moving carriage, springs, straps, and bars.

This allows for controlled, mindful movement that builds strength, mobility, and balance.

Each class follows the principles of Pilates through carefully

designed sequences guided by your instructor.

It sounds complicated and difficult — is it safe?
Yes. All classes are led by fully qualified instructors trained to use the equipment safely. We offer slower-paced, foundation-style classes to help you learn the reformer and feel confident before progressing.

I haven’t exercised for a long time — will I be able to do it?
Absolutely. Reformer Pilates is low impact and suitable for easing back into movement. We offer classes for all levels, and we’re always happy to help you choose the right one if you’re unsure.

I already do strength and cardio training — will I still benefit?
Yes. The reformer is highly adaptable and can be progressed to challenge all abilities,

from beginners to experienced athletes. Exercises can be layered or intensified,

meaning everyone is supported and challenged appropriately.

Is there parking nearby?
Yes. There is a large amount of dedicated parking available directly outside the studio at Treeview Court.

What should I wear?
Grip socks are required for Reformer Pilates and can be purchased in the studio or online.

Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that allows you to move freely and helps instructors

monitor alignment and form.

Do you offer introduction sessions?
Yes. We offer private 30-minute introduction sessions for up to 10 people. These can be arranged by messaging us with your availability. A £5 per person fee applies and is donated to a local animal rescue.

Do you offer private sessions?
Yes. Private Reformer sessions for up to 10 people are available. Please contact us directly for instructor availability. Prices start from £35.

Are children allowed in the studio?
Children under 14 may attend the studio during privately booked

sessions only but are not permitted to use the reformers.

Those aged 14 and over may participate in private sessions

when accompanied by an adult guardian.
